Eleiko has been selected as the official equipment supplier for weightlifting and powerlifting competitions at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The company have also entered a sponsorship agreement with Gold Coast 2018, it has been confirmed.
Eleiko will now supply a full range of equipment for the weightlifting and Para-powerlifting competitions, as well as provide logistical support managing installation and removal.
They will also provide event supervision for the competitions.
In addition to Gold Coast 2018, the agreement has seen Eleiko provide equipment for the 2017 Oceania and Commonwealth Championships, which are currently taking place in the Australian city.
"Eleiko is delighted to have been selected as the official weightlifting equipment supplier and to support the Organising Committee to deliver Gold Coast 2018," said Andreas Andrén, Eleiko's vice president of international sales.
"We are committed to providing the athletes with the world's best weightlifting and Para-powerlifting equipment and using our six decades of experience to help ensure the competitions are an enormous success."
Weightlifting competition will take place on the first five days of the Games from April 5 to 9, with powerlifting action held on April 10.
Both events will take place at the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre.
"With access to the very best equipment and a brand new facility at Carrara, athletes will be able to focus entirely on delivering their best performance when competing," said Cameron Murray, Gold Coast 2018's general manager.
"Fans will witness greatness, not only from the Australian athletes but competitors from across the Commonwealth, with some incredible athletic performances set to thrill spectators.
"Weightlifting proved popular in the initial ticket request phase so we're expecting an electric atmosphere across all sessions and the good news is there are still some tickets available."
Next year's Commonwealth Games is due to take place from April 4 to 15.
