Norway's Trym Nygaard Loeken will be aiming to extend his winning start to the International Ski Federation Telemark World Cup season when Pralognan-la-Vanoise in France plays host to the second leg over the coming two days.

Loeken won both the men's sprint and classic events at the first leg in La Thuile in Italy earlier this week.

It means he tops the overall World Cup standings with 200 points.

Switzerland's Nicolas Michel is second with 140 points, while compatriot Stefan Matter is third with 120.

Another Swiss skier, Amélie Reymond, leads the way in the women's overall World Cup standings with 180 points after finishing second in the sprint event and first in the classic event in La Thuile.

France's Argeline Tan-Bouquet, the winner of the sprint event, is second with 160 points.

Completing the top three is Great Britain's Jasmin Taylor with 130 points.

Action in Pralognan-la-Vanoise is due to begin tomorrow with the men's and women's sprint events.

The classic events will follow on Saturday (January 26).
