Caterine Ibarguen, Colombia’s Rio 2016 triple jump gold medallist and world champion of 2013 and 2015, has announced her retirement aged 37 following the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) female athlete of the year Caterine Ibargüen has been presented with a national award in her home country in recognition of her outstanding achievements this year.
