Forum Nordicum, the Union of Nordic Ski Journalists, has released a video looking back at four decades of meetings with key organisations involved within skiing.

The video commemorates the 40th anniversary of Forum Nordicum, which took place at Antholz in October 2019.

The forum sees governing bodies, such as the International Ski Federation and International Biathlon Union, meet with Nordic ski journalists.

The annual event is also attended by hosts of World Championship and World Cup events.

It enables organisers to explain their upcoming plans for competitions.

Agencies and sponsors are also among the organisations to attend.

The film was produced by Florian Müller, Jeremy Ziron and Jannick Saunus.

Material for the film was also provided by Fischer Ski, ORF, Team Gerber, the Waldeckische Landeszeitung in Korbach, Stephan Hauke and Forum Nordicum member Helmut Hanus.

Forum Nordicum has confirmed this year’s edition of the event will take place from November 9 to 11, with Oberstdorf set to host.

It comes with Oberstdorf scheduled to stage the 2021 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships.

The Championships are due to take place between February 23 and March 7 at the German venue.
