The FIG confirmed the individual quota places for Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics at the Paris Olympics, earned through the 2024 Apparatus World Cup series.

Following the Doha Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, twenty athletes clinched spots for Paris 2024. Additionally, two Pan American qualifiers were confirmed, and the men's host country quota underwent redistribution. This is the last Gymnastics World Cup stop after starting in Cairo, Egypt, in February and and passed through Cottbus, Germany, and previous Doha, competition went to Baku, Azerbaijan.

Tense battles on multiple apparatuses heightened the excitement in Doha. Finally, the FIG revealed the list of male and female athletes who will complement the 12 teams, along with the 17 male and 21 female individuals already secured for the Games. The new qualifiers are:

For the women’s vault, qualifiers are North Korean An Chang Ok and the Bulgarian Valentina Georgieva; For Uneven Bars New Zealand’s Georgia-Rose Brown and from the Philippines Levi Ruivivar; for Balance Beam the Belgium Nina Derwael and Chinese Taipei’s Ting Hua-Tien; and for Floor Exercise Austrian Charlize Moerz and the Spanish Laura Casabuena.

For Men’s Floor Exercise qualifiers are Ryu Sunghyun from South Korea and the Croatian Aurel Benovic; for the Pommel Horse the Jordanian Ahmad Abu Al Soud and from Kazakhstan Nariman Kurbanov; for Still Rings the Armenian Vahagn Davtyan and French Samir Ait Said; for Men’s Vault Hong Kong’s Shek Wai Hung and the Iranian Mahdi Olfati; for Parallel Bars the Colombian Angel Barajas and the Uzbek Rasuljon Abdurakhimov; and for Horizontal Bar Chinese Taipei’s Tang Chia-Hung and the Lithuanian Robert Tvorogal.

Gymnasts earned Olympic qualification points across four series events from Cairo, Cottbus, Baku and Doha. Top performers garnered points, with the top two and a maximum of one per country advancing to the Games on each apparatus.

The conclusion of the FIG 2024 Apparatus World Cup series in Doha marked not only the end of intense competition but also signified the closure of the penultimate phase of Olympic qualification. The upcoming continental championships across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania will serve as the final opportunities to complete the Paris 2024 rosters.
