The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has awarded TelevisaUnivision the free-to-air and pay-per-view television broadcast rights in Mexico for Paris 2024.

At least 200 hours of coverage on the Canal 5 free-to-air platform are included as part of the deal, complemented by paid-for coverage on TUDN.

Coverage will also be screened on ViX, the company's streaming service.

The deal continues a longstanding agreement between TelevisaUnivision, described as the world's leading Spanish language media company, and the IOC.

"We are delighted to continue our long-term partnership with TelevisaUnivision, which ensures comprehensive coverage of the upcoming Olympic Games Paris 2024 for viewers in Mexico," said Anne-Sophie Voumard, the managing director of IOC television and marketing services.
