Austrian team Vienna triumphed at the men's International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3x3 World Tour Masters event in The Netherlands' capital Amsterdam.

This was the 100th Masters category event since the start of the World Tour in 2012, and was held at the Gashouder, a former gas storage facility turned music venue.

Vienna faced Miami from the United States in the final, and gained a measure of revenge for their defeat at the last stop on the 3x3 World Tour to the same opponents in the decider in Cebu in the Philippines.

Enis Murati produced the game-winning score to help Vienna to triumph 21-19 and earn their first win of the season on the World Tour.

Vienna had lost 22-17 to Miami in Pool D yesterday, but went through to the quarter-finals courtesy of their 22-13 win against Utrecht of The Netherlands.

They won their quarter-final 21-12 against Princeton from the US, and reached the final with a 21-16 victory against defending World Tour champions Ub from Serbia.

Ub had beaten the hosts Amsterdam 17-15 in the quarter-finals.

The victory moved Vienna up to fourth on the season's World Tour rankings on 375 points above Miami in fifth on 355.

Ub are top with 820, followed by Amsterdam on 490 and Antwerp from Belgium on 455.

Shanghai in China is due to host the next event on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour on October 14 and 15.

The top 12 teams and the side with the most wins on the professional circuit who are yet to qualify are set to join hosts Jeddah at the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Finals in the Saudi Arabian city on December 8 and 9.
