Spain, Hungary, and Belgium have all secured their places in the Women's EuroBasket quarter-finals after they all picked up wins in their final group stage matches.

The trio join already qualified France as the competition reaches the knockout rounds.

Hungary caused the biggest upset by defeating reigning champions Serbia 81-75 to top Group D at the Arena Stožice in Ljubljana.

The Serbians finished level on points with Hungary but the head-to-head record put them second.

Slovakia then beat Turkey 80-66 to seal third place which is the last qualifying spot and puts them into a match against Germany.

The winner of that will advance to the last eight.

Germany beat Britain 62-61 to confirm their place, but the British team still advances.

Meanwhile, France extended their 100 per cent record with a 73-68 win against Slovenia in Group C.

Spain overcame their opening day loss against Latvia in Group A to finish top of the pile as they cruised past third place Greece 76-60 at the Drive in Arena in Tel Aviv.

They are joined in the knockout rounds by Montenegro who pipped Latvia 61-58.

They were powered by a remarkable performance by Natasha Mack who posted 22 points and 20 rebounds to become only the third player in the competition to achieve a double-double with 20 in both categories.

Co-hosts Israel were eliminated in Tel Aviv after losing 61-52 to Czech Republic, and they subsequently finished bottom of Group B.

Belgium took pole as they got the better of Italy 72-64.

Competition is set to continue tomorrow with the first qualification for quarter-finals matches.

Czech Republic will take on Greece first before Montenegro and Italy meet, with both games scheduled to take place at the Drive in Arena.
