Sweden's Filip Gravenfors and Alli Macuga of the United States starred in the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships moguls events as they picked up two gold medals in Chiesa in Valmalenco.

The 18-year-old Swede first triumphed in the men's moguls with 77.05 points overall from the time, air, and turns components.

He held off a challenge of 73.20 points from South Korea's Jung Dae-yoon while the United States' Asher Michel took the bronze medal on 69.86.

Gravenfors then pipped compatriot Emil Holmgren in the men's dual moguls to complete the double.

In the big final, he outscored Holmgren by 22 points to 13 following Mateo Jeannesson of Britain's victory over Jung for bronze.

Despite Gravenfors' dominance, Sweden were still unable to top the medals table as the US amassed two golds, one silver, and two bronzes meaning they beat the Swedes by a single bronze.

Macuga and Asher Michel secured the US' first victory in the dual moguls team event as they inflicted a 43-27 big final defeat on Ashley Koehler and Jean-Christophe Bouie of Canada.

Sweden managed their sole bronze of the Championships with a narrow 18-17 triumph over France.

Macuga then triumphed once again, this time in the women's dual moguls, with 35 points in the big final to dispatch countrywoman Skylar Slettene who did not finish.

Kylie Kariotis completed a podium sweep as she beat another American in Kasey Hogg by the same scoreline for bronze.

Shiori Asano led a Japanese one-two in the women's moguls with 69.23 points in front of Marin Ito on 68.98 while Koehler's 68.34 was enough to round out the top three.
