World number one Ko Jin-young headlines a stacked field for the HSBC Women’s World Championship at Singapore's Sentosa Golf Club.

The event, often dubbed "Asia's Major", has been won by a South Korean player in five of the last six editions, but not yet by Ko.

Kim Hyo-joo is the defending champion, having claimed a one-stroke victory in 2021.

There are 20 major winners in the field, including Park Inbee.

The South Korean won the tournament in 2015 and 2017.

Park is a seven-time major winner and also won an Olympic gold medal at Rio 2016.

Canada's Brooke Henderson, Lydia Ko of New Zealand and Australia's Minjee Lee are among the other major winners in the 65-player field.

Olympic champion Nelly Korda is absent, but the United States will be represented by more than a dozen players.

With four rounds scheduled and no cut, the action in the tournament should reach its climax on Sunday (March 6).
