Runaway overall leader Sandra Näslund of Sweden continued her superb form by topping both qualification runs at the Ski Cross World Cup on home snow in Idre Fjäll.

Näslund, who has seven individual World Cup wins to her name this season, edged out Katrin Ofner of Austria in the opening seeding run.

The two-time world champion and former overall title-holder repeated the performance in the second run, finishing in pole position ahead of compatriot Alexandra Edebo.

The results mean Näslund will have top seeding for both events due to be held at the Swedish resort this weekend.

Back-to-back competitions are scheduled for tomorrow and Sunday (January 23).

Few would bet against another two victories for the Swedish star, who has 750 points at the top of the overall leaderboard.

Näslund leads Switzerland's Fanny Smith by 184 points going into the races in Idre Fjäll.

Ryan Regez of Switzerland claimed top spot in both men's qualification runs.

Terence Tchiknavorian of France was second in the opener, while compatriot Francois Place finished behind Regez in the second race.

Frenchman Bastien Midol leads the overall standings on 403 points, with Tchiknavorian close behind on 373.
