Ochsner Sport will provide official clothing for the Swiss Olympic and Paralympic teams through its Albright brand for Beijing 2022.

It is set to be the first time that Switzerland's delegations will wear clothes from a Swiss brand at a Winter Olympic or Paralympic Games.

"We wanted Swissness and received Swissness," said Susanne Böhlen, head of Olympic team support at Swiss Olympic.

"This is also a strong signal to the athletes that they will be equipped with a Swiss brand."

The governing body landed on Albright as it was focused on producing items with efficient heat retention properties when developing the collection.

Each item has been made in line with Swiss Olympic's guideline for sustainably-produced clothing as it aims to be as socially and environmentally responsible as possible.

The collection is also available for the public to buy.

As well as clothing, accessories such as a ski bag, boot bag and belt are available.

Swiss Olympic has been partnered with Ochsner Sport since 2015 in a deal that runs until 2028.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Ochsner Sport had signed to become an official supplier of the re-arranged Winter Universiade in Lucerne, which is due to take place from December 11 until 21.

Switzerland is the eighth most successful team in the history of the Winter Olympic Games with 56 gold medals.

At the last Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in 2018, Switzerland won a total of 15 medals, including five gold with Alpine skier Michelle Gisin winning the women's combined, to finish seventh overall.

It also sits eighth on the overall Winter Paralympics medal table with 53 golds, including three at Pyeongchang 2018.

The Beijing 2022 Olympic Games are set to run from February 4 to 20 2022, with the Paralympics due to start on March 4 and ending on March 13.
