Alexandroupolis is set to host the second event of this season’s International Swimming Federation (FINA) Artistic Swimming World Series.
The competition in Greece comes a month after the season opening event in France’s capital city Paris.
Held under the banner of the Hellas Beetles Cup, the World Series event will take place in the Axd Aquatic Center.
Action is due to begin tomorrow with the duet and solo technical routine disciplines taking the focus in the first session.
An Opening Ceremony will then follow before a team technical routine closes the first day.
Solo competition will conclude on Saturday (April 6) with swimmers contesting the free routine part of the event.
The mixed duet technical and free routines will both be held on the same day, along with the team free routine.
The World Series event will end the following day with the duet free routine, highlight routine and free combination all taking place.
A gala will bring proceedings to a close.
The event is the second of nine World Series competitions.
Kazan and Tokyo are due to hold competitions with events in the Russian and Japanese cities also taking place in April.
China, United States, Canada, Spain and Hungary will stage legs of the World Series, which is set to conclude in Budapest in June.
