Great Britain ranked 14th in the medal table for the 2016 Winter YOG in Lillehammer, winning two gold and two bronze.

Freestyle skier Madison Rowlands was a double medallist with gold in women's halfpipe and bronze in slopestyle.

Ashleigh Pittaway was Britain's other gold medallist after winning the women's skeleton event, while bobsledder Kelsea Purchall clinched bronze in the women's monobob. 

In all, Britain had 16 competitors in seven sports.

At Innsbruck 2012, the country won one silver medal through Mica McNeill and Jazmin Sawyers in the two-woman bobsleigh event.

Sawyers has always predominantly been a track and field athlete and won long jump silver medals at both the 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2016 European Championships. 

Overall, Britain was represented by 24 athletes in 10 sports at Innsbruck 2012.
