Czech Republic ranked 20th in the medal table for the 2016 Winter YOG in Lillehammer, winning two silver and two bronze. 

The silver medals went the way of Anna Duskova and Martin Bidar in the pairs figure skating event and the women's ice hockey team.

Rounding out their respective podiums were freestyle skier Klara Kasparova in the women's ski cross and Nordic combined skier Ondrej Pazout in the men's normal hill/5 kilometres competition.

In all, Czech Republic had 43 competitors in 12 sports.

At Innsbruck 2012, the country finished 18th in the medal table with one gold and one silver.

Tomas Portyk was the gold medallist courtesy of his win in the Nordic combined individual event, while freestyle skier Veronika Camkova was the silver medallist after taking second place in the women's ski cross. 

Czech Republic was represented by 24 athletes in 11 sports.
