South Korea moved joint top of the standings after two victories today at the World Men's Curling Championships in Las Vegas today.

They are now tied with Norway and Sweden at the top of the standings on three wins from three.

South Korea thrashed Japan 9-2 in their first match of the day at the at the Orleans Arena before a 7-5 success over United States.

Norway won 8-2 against Germany today and then 8-4 over Japan.

Sweden beat The Netherlands 5-2 to follow their two victories yesterday.

Scotland beat Italy 6-4 to also remain unbeaten after two matches.

Russia joined Canada and China on two wins and one loss after a narrow 7-6 victory over the Chinese elsewhere today.

The top six teams will qualify for the play-off stage - rather than four which was the case previously - after the round-robin phase is completed on Friday (April 6).

The qualification games and semi-finals are due to take place on Saturday (April 7) and the medal games will be on April 8.
