The company, which runs holiday parks in areas of the country including Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, the Cotswolds, Cornwall and Somerset, will become title sponsors of the Women’s National Singles Championship as part of the deal.

This will be played as part of the 2017 Bowls England National Championships in Royal Leamington Spa, taking place between August 5 to September 3.

Tony Allcock, Bowls England's chief executive, said: "We are delighted to welcome Hoburne Holidays as official sponsors of Bowls England and wish to thank them for their support."

Hoburne's sales and marketing director Dan Steadman said the company were "delighted" to enter into the partnership.

"There are many synergies between our customers and the demographic of people who play and enjoy bowls," he said.

"Our seven holiday parks are situated across the south and south-west of England and many are in areas rich with bowls history and popular with bowls holidays.

"We look forward to welcoming Bowls England members and supporters to our locations in the future."
