World bronze medallist Andreas Pantelides is returning to competition with a single goal in mind: to win gold at the 2024 GAMMA European Championship, which takes place this week in Slovakia.

Among the thirty-five athletes that the Czechia MMA Association sent to neighbouring Slovakia this week for GAMMA’s 2024 European Championships is returning medallist Veronika Zajicova. The Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) sat down with the 52.2kg prospect to talk about her career. 

There are just 10 days to go until the first athletes start checking in for the 2024 GAMMA European Championships. Hosted by the Slovak MMA Association (SOMMA), the senior and youth tournaments will be held under one roof at the Bellevue Grand Hotel in Vysoké Tatry from 12-19 May.

GAMMA has announced that the 2024 European Championships will be held in Slovakia from 12-20 May, following the signing of a hosting agreement on 9 January. For the first time at a continental championship, a U18 event will be added to the senior programme.
