January 21 - Paralympic hopeful Eleni Papadopoulos (pictured), the swimmer rated as one of Britain’s hottest prospects for London 2012, claimed that she is fully focused on competing at the Games despite a heavy academic workload.
December 27 - Canadian swimmer Chelsey Gotell (pictured), winner of 12 Paralympic medals during a career that started as a 14-year-old in Sydney in 2000, has revealed that she may quit the pool before London 2012.
December 22 - Dutch nsurance company Univé has been announced as a sponsor of the 2010 IPC Swimming World Championships, which will take place in the Pieter van den Hoogenband Swimming Stadium in Eindhoven next August.
