Garnier Ambre_Solaire_in_Team_GB_packingMarch 25 - Garnier Ambre Solaire has become a licensee of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, it has been announced.

Ambre Solaire will produce two of its best selling products, an ultra-moisturising SPF30 lotion and a clear protect +SPF30 spray, in Team GB packaging.

They will be sold during the Olympic and Paralympic Games to help protect the public from the sun.

London 2012 commercial director Chris Townsend said: "I am delighted to welcome Garnier Ambre Solaire as the latest addition to the London 2012 merchandise programme.

"They join a fantastic team of licensees, 90 per cent of whom are British, who are creating, distributing and selling a fantastic range of merchandise for people to celebrate the London 2012 Games."

The London 2012 merchandise programme is expected to produce more than £1 billion ($1.6 billion/€1.2 billion) in sales, with an estimated 10,000 items to be on sale by the start of the Games.
