Victoria Pendleton_Keri-Anne_Payne_and_Jessica_Ennis_sign_Pantene_deal_04-01-12January 5 - Olympic gold medallist track cyclist Victoria Pendleton (pictured left), European heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis (centre) and world 10k open water champion Keri Anne Payne (right), have been signed up as ambassadors for three brands manufactured by P&G, a worldwide Olympic sponsor.

Pendleton claimed gold in the sprint at the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and is a leading hope for London 2012.

She will be an ambassador for Pantene Pro-V's Smooth & Sleek range, as well as for Oral-B, and said: "Training outside everyday means the elements can play havoc with my hair, however the Smooth & Sleek range helps fight frizz and keeps my hair looking and feeling the healthiest it's been."

Payne (pictured), the first Briton to book her place at this year's Olympics when she won her open water crown in Shanghai at the World Aquatics Championships in July, will be the new face of the Max Factor False Lash Effect gold range mascara, and said that she was "excited" to team up with them.

"When I'm not training, I love experimenting with make-up and creating different looks," she added.

"I'm a long time fan of False Lash Effect, as the big lash look makes me feel confident."

Olay has also bagged a leading London 2012 medal contender in Ennis.

The 2009 world champion, who was a javelin's throw away from retaining her crown in Daegu last year, will be promoting Olay Essentials.
