The Championships are being held in Lima, Peru, and Poliquin will provide a package to each athlete, which includes podium attire, singlets, a bag, shorts and tee-shirts.

USA Weightlifting chief executive John Duff said: "As a generous sponsor of the sport and our athletes, Poliquin Performance has supported our athletes at both the junior and senior levels and we are very grateful that they have offered to support our athletes again through their donations for our Youth World Team."

This year's competition, for athletes under 17 years old, is the second time it will take place after the inaugural event in 2009.
