Gomer-Lindsay_1_InternetMarch 24 - Lindsay Gomer has been appointed by hospitality support providers PROSKE sports as its new Director of Sales and Marketing.


Gomer will be working on the company's Coca Cola account, following PROSKE's recent appointment by the brand to supports its International and Local Hospitality & Ticketing Management Programme at the 2012 football European Championships, to be held in Ukraine and Poland.

Gomer joins from America and the National Basketball Association, whom he helped establish a London HQ and offices in Madrid, Milan and Istanbul, and brings a range of other experience from previous senior management roles at KHP consulting, TMG and Jardine Communications.

He said: "PROSKE was a natural hospitality partner for a range of clients at UEFA EURO 2008™ and this combined experience was then the critical component in successfully winning the Coca-Cola programme for UEFA EURO 2012™.

"The opportunity to build on this platform coupled with the potential of working with a finely-tuned hospitality service provider was the over-riding attraction of PROSKE sports."

PROSKE's role at Euro 2012, being held jointly by Ukraine and Poland, will involve management of tickets and packages including VIP and consumer programs, as well as activating hospitality for local markets during the tournament.

PROSKE's Head of Sports, Dr. Andreja Wieser, commented: "We are delighted that Lindsay has joined our team.
