Premier Padel appoints David Serrahima as new General Manager.

Premier Padel, the world's leading professional padel tour, has announced a further senior appointment to its management team with the appointment of David Serrahima as General Manager.

Since the turn of the year - when Premier Padel became the only, unified global tour in professional padel - Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) has overhauled the tour's management team to take the project to the next and highest level.

David Serrahima is one of the leading sports executives in Spain as Managing Director of sports marketing agency Octagon. He will continue in this position, but will also take on a key role at Premier Padel to drive the next phase of growth for the project.

Serrahima is part of the new Premier Padel Executive Committee, which includes Vice President (and President of the International Padel Federation) Luigi Carraro, CEO and QSI Senior Executive David Sugden and Commercial Director Rob Mitchell.

He will be responsible for the overall delivery of the 25-tournament tour, which now spans 17 countries worldwide, as well as driving the project's strategy with a particular focus on promoters, players, the international schedule, innovation, people, culture and brand.

The Premier Padel Executive Committee presented the new management team and the ambitions of the Premier Padel project to nearly 200 this week at the Foro Italico, the venue of this week's BNL Italy Major Premier Padel.

Also announced to the players in Rome was the additional appointment of Alberto Bote as Editorial & Brand Manager of Premier Padel, who will help develop the project's editorial standards and brand narrative across broadcast, media and partner activations.

Since the beginning of the year, Premier Padel - in partnership with the International Padel Federation - has overhauled the Tour's infrastructure and increased its total permanent staff from 10 to over 45 people, particularly in the sports area, with further hires to be announced shortly.

Premier Padel, created by Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) in partnership with the International Padel Federation (FIP) and the Professional Padel Association (PPA), is the world's leading official professional padel tour. Launched in 2022 and supported by the PPA, the inaugural year saw over 500 players from around the world compete in Premier Padel tournaments at some of the most iconic venues, including the Stade Roland-Garros in Paris.
