World Rowing has chosen the region of Andalusia and the city of Seville to host an important and extensive serie of prestigious World Rowing events from 2024 to 2026.

The first event in Seville will be the World Rowing Awards on 9 November at the Pabellón de la Navegación. This ceremony highlights the achievements of rowing in competition, culture and community. The 2025 and 2026 editions will also be held there. 

The World Rowing Coaches and Sports Medicine Conferences, to be held in the fourth quarter of 2025 and 2026, and the Quadrennial World Rowing Congress and Joint Commission Meetings in 2025 are the other events allocated to Seville. 

The Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, said: "(Seville) has a special relationship with rowing, and the fans will respond as they always do to an event that we are sure will be a success."

Asunción Loriente, President of the Spanish Rowing Federation, said: "These events are an excellent opportunity to highlight Spain's renowned hospitality and our passionate commitment to rowing. We aim to offer a unique experience and make the next few years an extraordinary era for World Rowing."
