Seven teams remain unbeaten after the third day of the World Mixed Curling Championship at Aberdeen in Scotland.

In Group A Sweden and Belgium both recorded their fourth consecutive victories, with Sweden overcoming England 7-3 during the first session of four today at Curl Aberdeen.

Belgium maintained their unbeaten streak against the same opponents, defeating England 6-3 during the third session of the day’s play.

Defending champions Canada are on their own at the top of Group B, after they won a fourth straight match by defeating Lithuania 9-5.

Spain lead Group C after registering their fourth straight win with a crushing 13-4 win over India.

The match saw the Spanish quartet of Leire Otaegi, Mikel Unanue, Oihane Otaegi and skip Sergio Vez score three big ends, classed as ends where four or more shots are accrued, with four in ends one and five and a score of five in the third.

In second place in Group C are the US who recorded their third straight victory today after overcoming India 9-2.

Norway are out in front in Group D, registering a fourth win in a row after overcoming Hong Kong 7-2.

In second place in the group and also undefeated are Switzerland, whose side achieved a straight win with an 8-2 win over Hong Kong.

A total of 24 round-robin sessions are due to be played and are scheduled to conclude on Thursday (October 19), with the knockout stages due to culminate with the final on Saturday (October 21).
