Eight teams made it two wins from two while Haudenosaunee started their World Lacrosse Men's Championship campaign in style by defeating England 18-5 on day three.

Japan, Mexico, Ireland, Israel, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Scotland and the United States all registered their second victory in San Diego.  

Austin Staats scored eight goals and assisted one while Lyle Thompson got three and an assist in Haudenosaunee's win over England.

Nine players scored as the Americans dominated Australia 12-3 to take charge of Pool A.

The US won 12 out of 17 face-offs and collected 19 ground balls.

Pool E saw Scotland cruise past Austria with a 12-4 win.

Matty Rowarth was at his brilliant best going forward, scoring eight and assisting one.

Scotland won 33 ground balls and restricted Austria to eight shots on target.

France started their campaign with a 13-4 win over Denmark as Kevin Bertrand and James Barlow scored hat-tricks.

Justin Rosenberg played his part in the game for the French, adding two goals and two assists. 

Khairi Sears scored five and caused two turnovers to help Jamaica beat Switzerland 10-5 in Pool D.

In Pool C, Puerto Rico continued their impressive start to the tournament by annihilating Sweden 16-4.

Blake Behlen and Kevin Lewis were the heroes for Puerto Rico, scoring four each and an assist.

The Netherlands edged Peru 8-7 with Jake Bowman banging the winning goal with 3:49 to play in the Pool F fixture.

Pool D action saw Germany get the better of Poland 11-8.

Despite leading 8-1 when second half started, they had to struggle against Poland who came back to make it 9-7 in the fourth quarter.

Per-Anders Olters starred with four goals for Germany.

Israel beat the Philippines 8-4 while Japan humbled Uganda with a massive 18-0 win in Pool B.

Shinya Tateishi and Hiroki Kanaya scored five goals and an assist each for the Japanese.

Ireland breezed past South Korea 14-2 in Pool C while Italy held off a strong challenge from Mexico who were not ready to give up.

They got a hard-fought 13-9 win with Christian Cuccinello bagging three.
