The Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) has announced the four fighters who won the opportunity to take part in a ONE Lumpinee event at the GAMMA Asian-Pacific Championships.

Before the competition in Pattaya, GAMMA agreed a deal for the best man and woman in both the MMA and striking MMA disciplines to be given a place on a ONE Lumpinee card.

Sandra Succar, Farida Abdueva, Almaz Sarsembekov and Sumit Bhyan have been selected as the winners.

Succar from Lebanon, who is also a GAMMA world champion, won the women's under-65.8 kilograms MMA category.

Kyrgyzstan's Abdueva was victorious in the women's under-52.2kg striking category.

Kazakhstan's Sarsembekov reigned supreme in the men's under-61.2kg striking MMA division.

Finally, Indian athlete Bhyan was crowned men's under-70.3kg champion.

Work is said to be underway to find suitable opponents for the ONE Lumpinee fights.

ONE Lumpinee is a series of fights at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium launched by professional combat sports promotion ONE Championship.

GAMMA and ONE Championship have an existing strategic partnership.

"One of our missions as an organisation is to provide real pathways for athletes from our championships to the professional promotions," GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt said when announcing the Lumpinee tie-up.
