The world number 16 overcame Daria Trigolos of Belarus 12-14, 11-4, 11-7, 11-5.

Polcanova will face Hana Matelova in the last four, after the Czech player came through one of the tightest matches of the day.

Matelova earned an 11-7, 4-11, 8-11, 12-10, 11-8 victory over Germany’s Nina Mittelham.

Puerto Rico's Adriana Díaz and Monaco's Xiaoxin Yang will contest the second semi-final.

Diaz secured an 11-7, 11-6, 11-7 win over Portugal’s Jieni Shao, while Yang beat France's Prithika Pavade 11-6, 11-9, 7-11, 11-6.

Tomorrow will also see the finals of the men’s and women’s doubles events.

India’s Gnanasekaran and Harmeet Desai will face France’s Emmanuel Lebesson and Alexandre Cassin in the men’s final.

Switzerland’s Rachel Moret and Belarus’ Daria Trigolos take on the Swedish pairing of Linda Bergstrom and Christina Kallberg in the women’s event.
