Tickets have gone on sale for this year's Men's Lacrosse World Championship in Israel.

Forty-eight teams will be competing at the event in all, scheduled for Netanya between July 12 and 21.

Most matches will take place across six competition fields at Wingate National Sport Institution, Israel's National Centre for Physical Education and Sport.

Canada will defend the title they won after beating hosts United States in the 2014 final in Denver.

The team representing the Iroquois native American confederacy won bronze.

Israel were given the rights to the flagship event after English Lacrosse withdrew Manchester as the host city in April 2017.

This was because of financial concerns.

Netanya has pedigree hosting other sporting events, including the 2015 European Short Course Swimming Championships.

Matches at the 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship were also held there.

Tickets are available to buy here.

Full event and single day passes are on offer.

Organisers the Federation of International Lacrosse say they are expecting several days to sell out.
