World champions Finland recorded an emphatic victory against Belgium to remain top of Group One at the International Floorball Federation European Floorball World Championship qualifiers at the Kalevi Sports Hall in Tallinn.

The Finns showed why they are top of the group with an easy 27-0 win.

Elsewhere in the group, hosts Estonia beat Poland 5-4 to book their place at the World Championship whilst The Netherlands recorded an 8-3 win over Liechtenstein.

World number two Sweden kept their place at the top of Group Two with a comfortable 23-1 win against Slovenia at the Arena Klokocina in Nitra, Slovakia.

The hosts then recorded a 3-2 win against Germany in the group's later match of the day.

Both Switzerland and Latvia qualified for the World Championships on the last day of action in Group Three, despite the former beating the latter 9-4 at the Vidzemes OC in the Latvian town of Valmiera.

Earlier in the day, Russia beat Italy 9-5 whilst Hungary secured a 12-3 win against Iceland.

Norway thrashed Great Britain 21-1 in Group Four, also in Nitra, to secure their spot at the World Championship.

The other match in the group saw Spain beat Austria 6-3.

The World Championships are scheduled to take place in the Czech capital Prague from December 1 to 9.
