Finland completed the successful defence of their Men's Under-19 World Floorball Championships title after beating hosts Sweden in the final at the Vida Arena in Växjö.

The Scandinavian country triumphed 7-4 to replicate their achievement from 2015, when they defeated Switzerland in the final.

Justus Kainulainen scored four of Finland's goals in a match they never looked like losing after racing into a 4-0 lead.

Sweden twice moved to within two goals at 5-3 and 6-4, but the home nation ultimately had to settle for the runners-up spot.

Eetu Sorvali, Eero Jalo and Heikki Iiskola completed Finland's list of goalscorers, while Kasper Broby scored two for Sweden with Adam Dahlqvist and Michael Jansson also chipping in.

Third place went the way of Czech Republic, who overcame Switzerland 8-5 in the bronze medal match.

They will be replaced in the A-Division for the 2019 edition of the event by Norway, who beat Estonia 12-2 in the B-Division final.

The A-Division All Stars team includes goalkeeper Pontus Zarins of Sweden and defenders Ondrej Nemecek of Czech Republic and Antti Suomela of Finland.

Switzerland's Simon Laubscher takes up the centre position, while Iiskola and Finland team-mate Joona Rantala make up the forward line.
