Lisen Hockings won the women's road race on the second day of the Oceania Cycling Championships in Canberra today.

The 37-year-old home rider had already won bronze in the time trial yesterday and also finished third on the road race last year in the continental event.

She crushed the field today over the 120 kilometres course around the Australian capital.

Her winning time of 3 hours 34min 35sec put her 3:17 clear over a chasing duo.

Shannon Malseed outsprinted Lucy Kennedy for second and third to complete an all-Australian podium.

Host nation riders filled the top seven places in a dominant home performance.

Charlotte Lucas of New Zealand finished 10:44 behind in eighth place to end as best of the rest.
