World number one Kristina Boe topped the podium in front of a home crowd at the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) vaulting series in Leipzig.

The German claimed victory in the women’s event at the last World Cup qualifier before the final in March, while her compatriots also prevailed in the men’s and pairs competitions.

Boe produced a dominant display on Don de la Mar, with her performance awarded a score of 8,469 in the Partner Pferde Arena.

It would prove enough to win a second consecutive World Cup event, with Italy’s Silvia Stopazzini having to settle for second place with a score of 8,266.

The podium was completed by Switzerland’s Nadja Büttiker, whose score of 7,893 would push the current series leader Anna Cavallaro down to fourth, with an early stumble seeing the Italian only earn 7,791 points.

Daniel Kaiser would deliver further German success in the men’s competition as last year’s FEI Vaulting World Cup winner warmed up to this year’s event by achieving a score of 8,634.

He would edge out the challenge of his compatriot Jannik Heiland who finished second on 8,558, while Italy’s Francesco Bortoletto secured third place by scoring 8,118.

A clean sweep of gold medals for Germany was completed when Theresa-Sophie Bresch and Torben Jacobs combined to good effect to win the Pas De Deux category event.

The duo scored a total of 8,615 to win the pairs competition, with Italy’s Silvia Stopazzini and Lorenzo Lupacchini ending some way adrift on 8,271.

Germany’s Jolina Ossenberg-Engels and Timo Gerdes finished in third place, with the pair awarded a score of 7,786.

The FEI World Cup Vaulting Final is due to take place in Dortmund between March 2 and 5.

It will feature the series' top six male and female athletes, while the four highest ranked Pas De Deux competitors from the qualifiers are also set to compete.
