Müller was a member of Germany’s women’s wheelchair basketball team at the London 2012 Paralympic Games, who earned gold by defeating Australia 58-44 in the final.

She will now head into the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, where she will seek to earn a third medal, with Germany having finished as the silver medallists at Beijing 2008.

The 32-year-old, though, will be targeting success in canoeing at the Games, having retired from wheelchair basketball in 2014.

The official team kit, which was designed by Adidas and Sioux, consists of over 75 different items.

The uniform includes podium and warm-up clothes, as well as in-competition and official Opening Ceremony kit.

“The identical uniform for the Olympic and the Paralympic team is a symbol for inclusion in sport,” claimed Friedhelm Julius Beucher, President of the German Paralympic Committee.

Para-cyclist Denise Schindler, who won women’s C3 road race silver at London 2012, and her team-mate Christiane Reppe, were among the other Paralympic stars present to unveil the kit.

Selected items are due to be sold to the public by Adidas and in the German Olympic team’s stores.

The shoes for the athletes have been produced by Sioux, who have provided the athletes’ footwear for the past 44-years.
