The Universiade, due to open on December 11 and last for 10 days, is the 26th edition of the Winter University Games and will see the International University Sports Federation (FISU) stream a number of the events on its official website following the success of this streaming effort in previous years, including the Summer Games in Kazan in July.
As well as specific sports, the website will also produce a daily highlights package to coincide with the day's events.
Television channels, including Eurosport, Eurosport Asia-Pacific, CCTV China, KBS Korea, CBS USA, RTR Russia, Czech TV, RaiSport, will also broadcast around 130 hours of content specifically on the Winter Univerisade giving fans from a number of regions the opportunity to watch the action from their own homes.
When the Universiade gets underway it will mark the sixth time that Italy have hosted the Games and will see around 3,000 athletes descend upon the mountainous Trentino region ready to compete in 12 different sports.
The live streaming can be found at www.livefisu.tv
