altSEBASTIAN COE'S lawyers are in talks with Channel 4 amid concerns at London 2012 that a Dispatches programme to be broadcast on Monday will air damaging allegations about the London 2012 chairman.

The programme is expected to focus on the financial fallout from London's win in the race for 2012 and the remuneration of key individuals including Coe.

London 2012 sources said they believed some of Dispatches' allegations against Coe were potentially libellous, and confirmed that his personal lawyers, Carter-Ruck, were in talks with lawyers at Channel 4.

Dispatches will air details from the London 2012 accounts for the year to March 2007 which reveal that Coe received £285,000 as chairman in the last financial year.
