The 9th Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of African National Olympic Academies (ANOCA) met in Algiers, with 25 out of 39 academies present, to evaluate the efforts made by the Association des Académies Nationales Olympiques d'Afrique (AANOA) and their respective National Olympic Committees (NOCs) in promoting and disseminating the Olympic ideals and values.
