She beat world champion and Olympic bronze medallist Romane Dicko of France en route to the women's over-78 kilograms final against Milica Žabić of Serbia at the Antalya Sport Hall, where her opponent was hit with three penalties to hand the home favourite the gold.

Dicko salvaged a bronze from the Grand Slam by beating China's Xu Shiyan, and there was further podium success for Turkey through Hilal Öztürk who saw off Adiyasuren Amarsaikhan of Mongolia.

Two-time Olympic medallist Audrey Tcheuméo beat the reigning Olympic champion Shori Hamada of Japan to triumph in the women's under-78kg final and earn her ninth IJF Grand Slam gold.

Alex Creţ of Romania enjoyed a remarkable run to the men's under-90kg final, but came unstuck against The Netherlands' former world champion Noël van 't End.

Artem Bubyr of Ukraine saw off Peter Žilka of Slovakia to take the first bronze, and was joined on the podium by Bulgaria's Ivaylo Ivanov who beat Hungary's Roland Goz.

Jelle Snippe and Roy Meyer contested an all-Dutch men's over-100kg final, the former springing a further surprise to take gold.

İbrahim Tataroğlu earned a bronze for the hosts against Ukraine's Yevheniy Balyevskyy, and South Korea's Song Woo-hyeok secured his first IJF World Tour medal against Georgia's Levani Matiashvili.

The Antalya Grand Slam was the last event on the IJF World Tour before the World Judo Championships in Qatar's capital Doha from May 7 to 14.
