The Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee (PNGOC) has launched the 2023 edition of the Trukai Fun Run.

The annual event raises funds to send the country's athletes to international sporting events including the Pacific Games, Pacific Mini Games, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games.

T-shirts were released for the run which carry the "CarryYourCough" slogan in support of the Business4Health tuberculosis campaign in Papua New Guinea.

PNGOC praised the Fun Run's main sponsor Trukai Industries Limited's contribution which has been involved for the last 23 years.

Once again, it is sponsoring the campaign and providing 50,000 t-shirts for athletes.

The clothing will be sold at PGK20 (£4.90/$5.50/€5.20) per item.
