Druskininkai, in the south of Lithuania, is set to host the Baseball5 European Championship in November, with the top two teams qualifying for the 2024 Baseball5 World Cup.

World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Europe announced the Championship would come back to the country for the second edition.

The inaugural Championship was held in the capital city Vilnius in 2020.

Although set dates have not been confirmed yet, the tentative date for the final is November 11.

Competition is set to take place at the Lithuanian Sports Complex.

France claimed victory in Vilnius three years ago, beating the hosts 2-0 in the final.

Russia won 2-0 against Italy for the bronze medal.

The inaugural Baseball5 Under-17 European Championship was won by France too, qualifying the nation for the WBSC Youth Baseball5 World Cup along with runner-up Turkey.

Fourteen teams competed in the inaugural edition.
