The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) has opened up the possibility of creating continental federations, with the issue discussed at the FITEQ General Assembly.

This took place online, a few weeks after the 2022 Teqball World Championships in Nuremberg.

During talks, FITEQ introduced the idea of establishing continental bodies, with the very first of these to be approved being the Panam Teqball Confederation, which was approved by the members as a FITEQ affiliate.

Panam Teqball Confederation would cover all of Pan America, including two of the sport's best nations - Brazil and United States.

Jawad El Hajri, Rui Leitão and Filomena Fortes were all re-elected as additional Executive Board members, while USA Track and Field chief of operations Renee Washington, has been added as a new Board member.
