The Brazilian Confederation of Taekwondo (CBTKD) has been named MNA of the Year for Para Taekwondo at World Taekwondo's Gala Awards.

The award comes one day after the country's athletes won three medals at the final of Grand Prix season in Riyadh.

Silvana Cardoso was the women's under-57 kilograms victor and Ana Carolina the women's under-65kg champion.

Nathan Torquato lost the men's under-63kg final.

Brazil topped the medals table at last year's Paralympic Games in Tokyo, where the sport was making its debut, and the CBTKD delegation is among the most feared in the sport.
