Georgia's Giorgi Natobaidze, who won the world title in the men's 56.7-kilograms striking MMA category, is among the key names to watch out for as he looks to secure a gold in his home country.

Veronika Smolkova of Slovenia and Iwo Baraniewski of Poland are also in line to make an impact.

Smolkova sealed the world title in the women's 61.2kg striking MMA division while Baraniewski took the top accolade in the men's 120.2kg MMA class earlier this year.

Italy's Roberta Zocco has also been tipped to challenge in the women's 56.7kg MMA group.

This will be the second time the GAMMA European Championships have been held following the previous edition in Ukrainian capital Kyiv last year.

Ten men's weight categories and seven women's divisions across both MMA and striking MMA disciplines has been scheduled.

Competition is due to start tomorrow with events running until Wednesday (September 28).
