Indonesia won two golds today in wushu ©FISU

Malaysia and Hong Kong finished wushu competition on a high note with multiple gold medals at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) World Cup Combat Sports in Samsun.

Tan Cheong Wan won one of Malaysia's titles with victory in the men's gunshu with a score of 9.57 points.

Ho Yin Ching of Hong Kong took the silver with 9.35, while Danil Feshchenko of Ukraine took bronze with 9.25.

Wai Calvin Leong added a second in the men's nanquan with a score of 9.5, beating Mohammed Ali Foroushani Mojiri of Iran with 9.25.

Mustafa Bedirhan Capoglu of Turkey took bronze with 8.9.

Sham Hui Yu Lydia was one of the winners from Hong Kong in the women's jianshu with a score of 9.53.

Nandhira Maurishkha of Indonesia took the silver with 9.4, as Elifa Akyuz from Turkey took bronze with 9.35.

Lau Po Yan got a second gold medal of the day for the country, as she was the sole medallist in the women's nanquan.

Competition is scheduled to continue tomorrow with muaythai and boxing.
