In the women's foil quarter-finals, top seeded Italians Arianna Errigo, Martina Favaretto, Francesca Palumbo and Alice Volpi defeated Poland's Martyna Dlugosz, Martyna Jelinska, Hanna Lyczbinska and Julia Walczyk 45-26, while third seeded United States' Jacqueline Dubrovich, Lee Kiefer, Zander Rhodes and Maia Mei Weintraub won 45-27 over Spain's Andrea Breteau, Ariadna Castro, Maria Teresa Diaz and Maria Marino.

Italy won 45-37 against Japanese quartet Sera Azuma, Karin Miyawaki, Yuzuha Takeyama and Yuka Ueno in the semi-finals, and were joined in the final by the Americans who defeated France's Anita Blaze, Solene Butruille, Pauline Ranvier and individual champion Ysaora Thibus 45-35.

In the final, Italy beat the US 45-27.

France's Alexandre Bardenet, Yannick Borel, individual champion Romain Cannone and Alex Fava made the final of the men's épée.

They defeated Switzerland's Alexis Bayard, Hadrien Favre, Max Heinzer and Lucas Malcotti 45-42, before winning 45-37 against Hungarians Tibor Andrasfi, Mate Tamas Koch, David Nagy and Gergely Siklosi.

The quartet of Gabriele Cimini, Davide di Veroli, Andrea Santarelli and Federico Vismara of Italy, the fifth seeds, met them in the final.

In the quarter-finals, they won 45-39 against Ukraine's Nikita Koshman, Volodymyr Stankevych, Roman Svichkar and Yan Sych, before disposing of top seeds Koki Kano, Ryu Matsumoto, Kazuyasu Minobe and Masaru Yamada of Japan by a score of 41-31.

France won the final 45-42.
