Four nations remain in the fight for the title at the UEFA Women's Futsal Euro 2022, with hosts Portugal aiming to claim victory on home soil after placing second at the inaugural edition in 2019.

Portugal are set to host matches in Gondomar from tomorrow until Sunday (July 3) and could have a rematch against the defending champions Spain in the final.

Portugal prevailed from a group featuring Poland, Croatia and Slovenia in the qualifiers to make the final round and are set to play Hungary in the semi-finals at the Pavilhão Multiusos de Gondomar.

Hungary's path to the semi-finals was more complicated, having finished behind Russia in Group One, but the group winners were banned by UEFA, meaning the Hungarians took their spot instead.

The winners of that match are due to face Spain or Ukraine.

Ukraine, who as hosts defeated Finland, Belgium and Czech Republic in Group Three, have a tough test against the 2019 winners Spain.

Spain were clear winners in Group D, beating Sweden, Slovakia and Italy to make the final four.

Losers of the semi-finals are to play for bronze, while the winners are to play in the final.
