Slovakia and the United Arab Emirates were winners today in the air rifle mixed team categories, ending the second day of competition at the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Châteauroux.

The pairing of Veronika Vadovicova and Radoslav Malenovsky claimed victory for Slovakia in the air rifle mixed team SH1, beating China's Xie Huanyu and Dong Chao 17-15 in the final.

A second Chinese team took the bronze as Zhong Yixin and Xu Jianjie defeated Hakan Gustafsson and Anna Normann 16-10.

The UAE followed up with a victory of their own in the air rifle mixed team SH2 competition, as Ayesha Almehairi and Saeed Alblooshi defeated Pamela Novaglio and Andrea Liverani of Italy 17-15 in the final.

Abdulla Alahbabi and Ayesha Alshamsi took bronze for the UAE too with a 16-12 victory over Aisulu Jumabayeva and Aidos Zhylkyhinov of Kazakhstan.

Finally, India's Rubina Francis and Manish Narwal defeated China's Li Min and Yang Chao 17-11 in the final of the air pistol mixed team category.

In an all-Turkish bronze medal clash, Cevat Karagol and Aysel Ozgan won 16-14 over Aysegul Pehlivanlar and Tahayasin Kusmus.
