European qualifiers for the Men's World Floorball Championship are set to take place in three different locations, starting today in Italy, with competition continuing in Latvia as of tomorrow.

Celano is hosting two groups, with competition set to finish in the Italian town on Friday (May 27).

The Czech Republic, Spain, Slovenia and host Italy are in Group E; Germany, Slovakia, Austria and African nation Ivory Coast are in Group F.

Germany, the Czechs and Slovakia all qualified for the 2021 World Championships.

Two locations are to host the other groups in Latvia - Valmiera and Kocēni.

In Valmeira, Latvia are in Group B with Denmark, Iceland and Ukraine.

The Netherlands, 2021 finalists Finland, Estonia and Britain are in Group A.

Latvia and Denmark qualified for the last edition too.

In Kocēni, Group C consists of world champions Sweden, Hungary and France; Group D has Norway, Poland, Belgium and Liechtenstein.

A total of 10 teams will qualify from European qualification - the six group winners as well as three next-best teams from the three qualification events.

The final spot goes to the best team across all three qualification events.

The Latvian qualifiers are scheduled to end on Saturday (May 28).
