Germany picked up three gold medals on the third day of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) Shooting World Cup in Rio de Janeiro.

One of these came in the women's air rifle team competition with the trio of Anna Janssen, Lisa Müller and Anita Mangold beating Jeanette Hegg Duestad, Katrine Lund and Jenny Stene from Norway 16-12.

Bronze went to Iran's Najmeh Khedmati, Fatemeh Karamzadeh and Fatemeh Amini Pozveh winning 16-6 over Denmark's Stephanie Laura Scurrah Grundoee, Christina Herskind and Anna Nielsen.

Married couple Sandra and Christian Reitz made it a second German title after winning the mixed team 10-metre air pistol event 16-10 against Thailand's Tanyaporn Prucksakorn and Noppadon Sutiviruch while the teams of Golnoush Sebghatollahi and Javad Foroughi of Iran and France's Camille Jedrzejewski and Florian Fouquet claimed bronze.

Paul Froehlich, Robin Walter and David Probst then won the men's air pistol team final by a 16-10 margin over Iranians Vahid Golkhandan, Sajad Poorhosseini Lafmejani and Javad Foroughi.

Bronze went to Philipe Chateaubrian Neves Freitas, Felipe Almeida Wu and Roberto Gomes of Brazil who thrashed Juan Manuel Fragueiro, Silvio Martin Ciaburri and Augusto Carranza of Argentina 16-2.

In the 10m air rifle mixed team gold medal match, Czech Republic's Lucie Brazdova and Jiri Privratsky won 16-14 against Duestad and Jon-Hermann Hegg of Norway while Gitta Bajos and Istvan Peni of Hungary defeated Iran's Fatemeh Karamzadeh and Mahyar Sedaghat 16-4 for bronze.

United States trio Lucas Kozeniesky, Rylan Williams Kissell and William Shaner won 16-12 over Czechs Petr Nymbursky, Jiri Privratsky and Frantisek Smetana for gold in the air rifle men's team event.

Bronze went to Henrik Larsen, Jon-Hermann Hegg and Simon Claussen of Norway, beating Croatia's Petar Gorsa, Borna Petanjek and Miran Maricic 16-8.

Finally, Golnoush Sebghatollahi, Haniyeh Rostamiyan and Elham Harijani of Iran won the air pistol women's team title, beating Thailand's Chidchanok Hirunphoem, Tanyaporn Prucksakorn and Kanyakorn Hirunphoem 16-12.

Andrea Katharina Heckner, Sandra Reitz and Doreen Vennekamp of Germany won bronze by a 16-4 score line over Thais Carvalho Moura, Cibele Breide Martins and Brenda Victoria Rodrigues from Brazil.
